**Refund and Return Policy**

Thank you for shopping at GulfScoot. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, but we understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. This Refund and Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning items and receiving refunds when you make a purchase through our Services.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.
**1. Return Window**
You may request a return within **2 days (48 hours)** from the date of delivery. Any return request made after this period will not be accepted.
**2. Free Refund Period**
Refunds are free of charge only if the return is initiated within **24 hours** of delivery. After 24 hours and up to the end of the 48-hour return window, refunds are no longer free – a restocking fee will apply (see Section 5). This means that if you want a full refund with no deductions, you must contact us within the first 24 hours after receiving your item.
**3. Eligibility for Returns**
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- The item is in the same condition that you received it – unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original packaging.
- All tags, labels, and accessories are intact.
- You have proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or confirmation email).
- The return request was made within the 48-hour return window.
Certain items are non-returnable (see Section 7).
**4. How to Initiate a Return**
To start a return, contact us at horizonreel3@gmail.com or send us a message on TikTok within the return window. Please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. We will provide you with instructions on where and how to send the item back. Do not send items back without first receiving authorization from us.
**5. Refunds**
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed according to the following:
- **Returns initiated within 24 hours of delivery:** You will receive a full refund of the item price. No restocking fee will be charged. (Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.)
- **Returns initiated after 24 hours but within 48 hours of delivery:** A restocking fee of 15% of the item price will be deducted from your refund, or you may choose to receive the refund in the form of store credit at full value (no fee). We will clearly communicate these options when processing your return.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase. Please allow a reasonable processing time for the refund to appear on your statement after approval.
**6. Late or Missing Refunds**
If you haven’t received your refund after we’ve notified you of its processing, first check your bank or card account again. Then contact your payment provider, as processing times can vary. If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us.
**7. Non-Returnable Items**
For hygiene, safety, and other reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
- Items that have been used, worn, washed, or altered
- Items not in their original packaging or with missing tags
- Perishable goods, intimate apparel, earrings, and personal care items (if applicable)
- Gift cards
- Items marked as final sale or clearance at the time of purchase
If a non-returnable item is shipped back to us, it will not be refunded and we may dispose of it or return it at your cost.
**8. Return Shipping Costs**
- For returns due to a change of mind (within the return window), you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- If the return is due to our error (incorrect item, damaged, or defective), we will provide a prepaid return shipping label and cover the cost.
**10. Order Cancellations**
You may cancel an order before it has been shipped for a full refund. Once the order is in transit, our standard return policy applies (return within 48 hours, with free refund only in the first 24 hours after delivery).
